Gen Z for Change x Casa de Paz
Founder & Project Lead – 2025 to Present

❋ I initiated and led a cross-organizational advocacy campaign in partnership with Casa de Paz—a Colorado-based nonprofit that works directly with individuals impacted by immigration detention through visitation, post-release support, and community-based alternatives—and Gen Z for Change. The campaign focused on exposing conditions inside the GEO Group Aurora ICE Processing Center and building sustained public pressure against private immigration detention.
❋ In partnership with Gen Z for Change, I helped activate a network of 25+ creators with a combined following of 65M+, designing and executing a creator-led campaign that translated on-the-ground advocacy into large-scale digital reach. The campaign drove awareness of conditions at the Aurora facility, educated audiences on the role of private prison contractors like GEO Group, and mobilized audiences through storytelling and calls to action.
❋ I originated the project and brought Casa de Paz on as a core partner, leading the campaign from concept through execution. I set overall strategy, advising on messaging, legal and policy framing, and how to translate direct service work into a scalable, high-impact digital campaign. This included shaping how stories from detained individuals were elevated—ensuring they were both ethically grounded and strategically effective.
❋I led cross-partner coordination across organizers, advocates, and creators, ensuring message discipline and strategic alignment while identifying rapid-response opportunities tied to immigration enforcement and detention policy.
